Get ready for a progressive Beer Olympics for the ages. The festivities kick off at 2:30 PM with Opening Ceremonies and the playing of the Colony Cup Anthem before the competition officially begins. Then it’s on to a neighborhood tour of games, cold drinks, and increasingly questionable athletic performances as teams battle for the Cup and a full year of bragging rights.
Every registered competitor will receive an invitation with the official starting address and event details before game day. Show up on time, pace yourself, and remember: legends aren’t crowned at the first stop—they’re made by the last one.

Set a can in the center of your side of the table. Place one full cup of beer, seltzer, or beverage of choice on each corner of your side.
Players take turns attempting to throw the ball and hit their opponent’s can. If you successfully hit the can, immediately begin drinking from one of your cups while your opponent retrieves the ball and returns to the table.
Your turn ends as soon as your opponent touches the table while holding the ball. Play then switches to the other player.
The first player to finish all of their drink wins and earns eternal backyard glory.

Two teams of two stand across from each other with a bottle or can balanced on top of a pole or stand behind each player. Teams take turns throwing the disc, attempting to hit the opposing target or knock the bottle off its perch.
Points are earned when:
1 Point: The opposing team drops a catchable throw.
2 Points: The disc strikes the pole or target stand.
3 Points: The bottle or can is knocked completely off.
Defenders may attempt one-handed catches to save a point — because heroes are made in the backyard.
After each point, the team that scored gains possession. Play continues until a team reaches the agreed-upon score (typically 21).
Remember: this is a game of precision, athleticism, and pretending you meant to throw it there.
Official Colony Cup ruling: If someone says “that was totally catchable,” it probably wasn’t.

Arrange six 5-gallon buckets in a triangle formation on each side of the battlefield. Teams stand behind their buckets and take turns attempting to land a ball into their opponent’s formation.
If a ball lands in your bucket, that bucket is eliminated from play. Remove it from the field and take a drink from your personal beverage — because we’re patriots, not animals.
Teams alternate shots until all balls have been thrown. If both teammates sink shots into the same bucket during a round, congratulations: your opponents remove that bucket and question their life choices.
When a team eliminates all opposing buckets, the game is over.
Official Colony Cup ruling:
No dunking. No goalie interference. No claiming “wind” unless there is documented weather evidence.
When words fail, flip.
Two teams line up shoulder-to-shoulder on opposite sides of the table. Every patriot receives a cup with a small pour of beer. The first player on each team drinks, places the cup on the edge of the table, and attempts to flip it over using only one hand.
No grabbing. No pinching. No cheating worthy of a congressional investigation.
Once a player lands the flip, the next teammate may begin. The race continues down the line until every citizen has emptied their cup and successfully flipped it.
Victory:
The first team to complete every flip earns the win, the glory, and unlimited bragging rights until the next event.
Official Colony Cup Rules:
Remember: Speed wins games. Panic loses them. And somehow there’s always one teammate who needs twelve flips.

Two teams stand on opposite sides of the battlefield, armed with four bags and varying levels of confidence.
Teams alternate throws, attempting to land bags on the board or through the hole in pursuit of backyard glory.
Scoring:
1 Point: Bag lands and remains on the board
3 Points: Bag goes through the hole
Scoring is cancellation style, meaning if Team Liberty scores 7 points and Team Chaos scores 4 points, Team Liberty earns 3 points for the round.
After all eight bags have been thrown, tally the score and begin the next round.
First team to reach 21 points wins and earns temporary bragging rights until the next questionable ruling.
Official Colony Cup rulings:
• Crossing the front of the board while throwing is considered treason.
• If you loudly declare “airmail” before your throw and miss completely, public ridicule is permitted.
• Every missed shot was either “too much spin” or “wind.” These excuses are officially recognized but carry no legal standing.
